After a succesful 2022/23 season which saw the club win four league titles which including promotion into National League Division 2 for the Men and 5th place for both the U18 Boys and U18 Girls National Grand Prix we now look forward…
The club have a total of 8 teams entered at all levels this season. The 1st team Men will competete in National League Division 2 with another entered into the regional Southwest League. The women will compete in the Southwest Premier Division after the league being divided into two, Premier and Division 1. For the local league we will have 5 teams spread across the four Exeter and District indoor leagues. ESVC Lightning will return after a year out to accompany ESVC Thunder in Division 1. Division 2 will see ESVC Tempest contest the title with ESVC Squalls in Division 3. ESVC Monsoons will enter the Ladies league after winning the 2022/23 season on points difference.
Throughout the season there will be additional opportunities for court time with the annual EDVA Mixed Tournament, Men’s and Women’s Exeter Challenge and the two volleyball spectacle that is Southwest Championships. We’ll have opportunities for younger players to participate in Junior Grandprix’s with many hoping to secure themselves a place in the SW Regional Squads for their age category. The NVL Men have also opted to enter the National Cup and hope their run will go deep into the tournament.
