Cardiff provides a great opportunity to our players to brush off the dust and prepare for the upcoming indoor season. With lots indulging in the beach throughout the summer it’s the first time the squads get to experience the wind free enviroments of the sports hall. This year we entered two sides. Our Men’s A side comprised of Southwest players, many who will be featuring in the National Volleyball League action later this month. With only 7 players registered, it was a long weekend of timed games but the men did us proud and reached the final. They final was a step too far on this occasion though as a well rotated, fresh faced, Cardiff Men earned the win and the Cardiff Open Cup for 2023.
